Sydney has been in the entertainment and activist field for over three decades. She identifies as a Black Non-Binary Trans Femme, bringing more visibility and healing to the TGI (Trans, Gender Diverse, Intersex) community through artivism. The positions they currently hold in life are Director of the TG/Enby Project, Founder of Infinite Souls Consultations, and Founder of Big Mama Story Time to name a few. She strongly believes in being trauma-informed and advocates for mental health healing, empowerment, and social justice for all, particularly in the BIPOC TGI communities. They have performed in several films, music videos, and social justice campaigns globally. They have sat on and moderated many panels and discussions with organizations such as Reach LA, Support Black Theatre, Equality California, and Trauma-Informed LA. They are currently in grad school at Simmons University to become a licensed social worker. They are currently interning with PESA (Parents, Educators/Teachers, and Students in Action). She is a published author of academic books and articles online. They recently have been featured in the Los Angeles Magazine, NY Times, and recently performed at the inaugural Beverly Hills Pride and spoke at Long Beach Trans Pride 2022.
